You received a Sim with your Stickers. (If not, look for the other option in the shop to order a SIM)

THIS product is to RICA a SIM and choose data package. You received the SIM with the Sticker Set, bought at a vendor.
Now Pay for the RICA and choose the internet package you want. Include the Order number in the subject of your email withthe required info.

To assist DriveMoz members with communication in Mozambique, we provided Vodacom SIM cards with some DriveMoz sticker sets, sold at certain shops.

• Send us an email Subject Line put "#Order Number" and "Rica my Sim" - Leaving dd-MMM (Date like 12-Mar)
  You will receive the order number after paying.
  Please send the required documents asap
  
• a proper coloured scan of the Passport, coloured full page, Open it full and scan it lying on a white A4
  
• a photo of the sim card and 
  
• a coloured selfie as per the instructions on the pamphlet you received with the sticker set / sim.

Herewith the requirements to RICA your MOZ SIM for use in Mozambique;

We need a Passport Copy, a Selfie and photo of the SIM as per the enclosed form you got with the Sticker Set.

Do it asap - we need time to RICA it and for you to test it

• It is a pre-paid SIM. We provide a recharge value for airtime and/or internet/data, if you choose that option.
• The Internet is pre-paid - it does not work in SA
• To Test the sim, choose Vodacom SA nework manually if you are in SA
• If in Moz, choose Automatic Network
• Do not activate the internet when you are not about to enter Moz. You will lose days in your package.
• When you load the purchased voucher, it is not active internet yet. It awaits you to convert it to data when you are ready. Follow the instructions. 
• Several people complain that the internet is not working, merely because they did not convert the airtime to internet data. Process is to dial *111#

Steps in the process after your pay for the RICA: Download the Form - click here  

• You make the payment for your choice (With data voucher)
• You send documents (Proper Passport Scan & Selfie and photo of SIM) 
• NO PROPER COLOURED PASSPORT (see picture below) or SELFIE - NO RICA and NO REFUND - see example
  
• we also now need a copy of your proof of address  (utility bill or similar)
• We Rica
• We email vouchers & instructions after we have RICAed the SIM (Check spam as well), then
• Please Insert the SIM, use 0000 PIN if asked DO this within 7 days from receiving our successful RICA eMail
• Select a Vodacom Mobile network (do not use Automatic) under your Mobile network settings 
  
• Wait for the network list and select Vodacom
• Your SIM will register on the network
• You will receive your Mozambique number per sms +258...............
• Mozambique numbers do not have a 0 in front of the number
• Check the SIM Airtime balance dial *100#
• Load the voucher we eMailed - Dial *100*01*VOUCHER CODE#        No spaces
• When you are ready to use data, on that day, then Convert the balance (or part thereof)  to data. Dial *111#
• The Last item in the list that will appear is Change Language - select the number and send
• Select Internet
• Choose package duration - weekly / monthly etc
• Choose the amount you want to convert to data
• Convert only to data the day you are going to enter Moz as is days duration is limited.
• You will get messages - DO NOT ACCEPT THE BONUS OFFER FROM VODACOM - you will get 1000SMS etc .. you will not use it
• If an extra voucher was purchased, you can also load that voucher
• Change the Access Point Name if the Sim does not access the internet (See instructions we emailed)
• You enjoy the trip, using DriveMoz on FB and Zello for updates

WHAT WE NEED - Download the Form - click here  

1. The system will send you a confirmation of this order per email. Check spam if you do not get it.
2. You must then send a clear, coloured, scanned copy, of your Passport, a Selfie and Photo of the SIM Card Bar Code to Simcard4Moz@gmail.com  Use the Form we provided with the SIM (Its also in the photo next to this product)
3. In the Subject line put #Order-number of your order; RICA my Sim" ; Date Leaving for Moz
   example: #1234; Rica my SIM; 15 Mar
   Passport must be a square copy directly from above
1. We need to see the sides top left right and bottom of the edge of the page . Scan both pages on a white A4 page
2. 
3. No shadows
4. It must include the full photo page
5. No fingers or reflections (Like a flash or light)
4. Selfie must be a direct picture taken from front of yourself, its needed for the RICA process these days. Ensure a smaller size (<3MB) or else the email may bounce.
5. Proof of address in your name
6. It takes a work-day to RICA the Sim, so send  documents asap
7. We will respond with an email when the RICA is done, also wit vouchers for internet (You must load and activate it)
8. Please insert the sim and test it, within 7 days after receiving it.
9. The sim is active for 90 days if not used, so you can order well in time.
10. We will Rica the Sim to your name. The process of Rica means the SIM is linked to your name. Do not use someone else's SIM, they might have been involved in something and you will be linked. Do not give your Sim to someone, they may do something illegal and you will be linked.
11. We will email you the instrucions.
12. When you receive the RICa email test the SIM. Do not wait until you are in Mozambique.
